How to add the FamBundance Calendar to your Devices
Stay up to date on everything that’s happening in FamBundance, without ever having to worry about putting it in to your calendar! By subscribing to the FamBundance Event Calendar, all of the FamBundance events, calls, and more will be automatically entered into your Android, iOS, Google, or Microsoft Outlook calendar!
Via Google Calendar (Preferred Method)
These instructions are for those using an Android phone, or Google Calendar as their primary calendar system. These will also work if your iPhone or iOS device is syncing your Google Calendars to your device.
- Click the button at the bottom of this section that reads “Add to Google Calendar”
- Sign into the Google account that is syncing to your devices.
- Click “Add Calendar” on the pop-up box.
- Give the service approximately 5 minutes to sync across your devices, then check your calendar app on each device to ensure that the “FamBundance Event Calendar” is enabled to be shown on that device.
Via iOS Calendar (Preferred Method)
These instructions are for those using an Apple iPhone or iPad, or Apple Calendar as their primary calendar system.
- Long press on the button below that says “Copy This Link to Add to iPhone”, and then press “Copy” on the menu that pops up.
- Go to the Settings App. Click “Passwords & Accounts”
- Click “Add Account” and then select “Other” at the bottom of the list.
- Click “Add Subscribed Calendar”. Then, paste the copied text into the box. You can also enter “www.fambundance.com/ical”. Click Next, and then Save.
- Open your Calendar app to confirm that events have been entered into your phone.
Via .ics Calendar File
For those using a calendar system on a computer which may not be synced to your mobile devices, such as Microsoft Outlook on a PC or Apple Calendar on a Mac, you can also use this file to manually add the Event Calendar to your system. Additionally, depending on how you have your devices set up, you can use this file to add the calendar to a 3rd party calendaring app, although you may need to follow the developers specific instructions.
To use the .ics file to add the FamBundance event calendar to your device, first click the button below to download the file to your computer. You may just be able to open the file and it will automatically be detected by your calendar program, but if not, a Google search for “Add .ics file to [insert name of application]” will likely give you detailed instructions specific to your application.
